Jaishree Francis, Co-Founder and Director, Child Development and Women’s Care

Jaiashree Francis co-founded S.E.E.D (Save Equip Entrust Disciple) Society in Kolkata, India in 2009 after driving by children playing in piles of garbage in a local slum community every day on her way to work at Compassion International. Feeling a burden to help the children there, Jaiashree eventually quit her full-time job to bring meals and hope to a very destitute community of people. Today, SEED Society serves three full-time slum projects and eight church plants and Jaiashree leads the staff and the programs for both the children and women in their care.
